Retail

If you’re looking for the kind of career that really keeps you on your toes, you’ll find it at our stores. Why? Because we’re people who do, remember. We love trying out new products, and here you’ll spend much of your time getting to grips with as many as 250 new lines each week, before showing our customers how to squeeze the most fun out of them.
In fact, our stores really do feel like they’re part of the community - they’re warm, welcoming, friendly and supportive, and working here is just like being part of one big family. It’s no wonder that many of our people used to be customers themselves!
But there are also lots of tough and challenging moments, too. Along with serving our customers, you’ll be on your feet for much of the day, unloading pallets, filling shelves, and getting stuck in to whatever it takes to keep your store running smoothly.
When we say our stores are for people who do, we really mean it.
Here’s a quick rundown of the types of roles available in our stores…
Store Manager
If you join us as a Store Manager, you’ll take a crafty, caring and can-do approach to growing sales and profitability in your store. But it’s absolutely not about sitting in an office and pushing paper. What makes our Store Manager roles different is that here you’ll be 100% hands on - with your team and the products you sell. You’ll be up on your feet and out in your store… mucking in with deliveries, inspiring everyone to work well together, and making sure we all deliver the high standards of service that keeps our customer coming back.
Assistant Manager
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for your store whenever the Store Manager is away, and you’ll take a hands-on approach to leading your store team to drive up sales and profitability. You’ll focus on staying up to date with product and prices changes, you’ll aim to minimise costs, and you’ll make sure that outstanding customer service is everyone’s priority.
Supervisor
Our Supervisors support both Store Managers and Assistant Managers to lead and motivate the team, and in this role you’ll focus on everything from sales and profitability to customer service. Above all, you’ll spend your time managing deliveries, keeping shelves full, and making sure our store remains just as friendly as ever - for our people and the customer who visit us every day.
Sales Assistant
As part of our team of Sales Assistants, you’ll play an important role in one of our busy stores, keeping sales up, shelves full, and customers happy. It’s all about getting to know our amazing products, making sure tills are available, and creating all kinds of visually appealing - and exciting - displays around the store.
