The bit ‘About You’

We’re looking for an experienced Paid Social Manager to join our team. You’ll be managing and optimising our paid social strategy across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok against business KPIs. You will work closely with the Organic Social and Digital Design teams to develop our creative and audience targeting strategy. You will be comfortable managing accounts hands-on, have experience managing a team and have a background using paid social to drive traffic and revenue within an ecommerce environment.


The bit ‘About the Role’

  • Manage paid social activity for The Works website to deliver weekly traffic, revenue and efficiency targets.
  • Regular reporting of campaign performance, pulling data from a variety of sources including platform and Google Analytics.
  • Manages creative briefs, ensuring ads are aligned with wider marketing and are delivering a healthy return on investment.
  • Develop a test and learn roadmap to grow paid social efforts.
  • Requires an experimental approach, being comfortable in designing, executing and evaluating experiments across Paid Social platforms.
  • Optimisation of data feeds within platforms.
  • Manages the set-up of new Social initiatives (e.g. channels, targeting, creative formats) as well as maintaining current set-up to maximise visibility in light of iOS updates.
  • Works closely with digital trading, buying and brand marketing teams to ensure activity is commercially focused and in line with the business trading/marketing objectives.
  • Works closely with our Email and CRM team to align on wider retention strategies as well as refining audience targeting through lookalike targeting.
  • Manages partner relationships, establishing account development plans.

  • ANALYTICAL – Highly analytical, able to interpret and make decisions from large data sets
  • INNOVATIVE THINKING – Proven experience developing and growing campaign performance through innovative strategies
  • DEDICATION – To achieving the best possible results, having the desire to constantly drive performance forward


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Subject matter expert with a minimum of 3 years paid social experience with demonstrable experience delivering incremental revenue, profit and ROI from Paid Social
  • Up-to-date on the latest features and releases
  • Desirable experience with TikTok
  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution / incrementality testing
  • A background in retail / eCommerce
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics
  • IT literate with knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office especially Excel
