People Services (HR) Administrator - Temporary Full-time role -  Initial 3 Month Contract

The bit "About the Role"

We are looking for a People Services Administrator to join our People Team, working in our small friendly dedicated People services team and reporting directly into the People Services Team Leader.

  • Provide first line support via phone and email for all HR & Payroll queries
  • Support with on boarding of new colleagues, undertaking Right to Work checks
  • Process first line administration of new starters, leaver's, sickness, court orders and contractual changes via a monthly payroll
  • Complete employment reference requests
  • Support the People Team with all aspects of administration  
  • Provide confirmation correspondence for any contractual changes
  • Some weekend work to support stores with seasonal queries maybe required

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works well under pressure/to deadlines
  • Strong organisational, prioritising & time management skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good PC skills and proven ability in using Excel
  • Ability to escalate/direct queries to the relevant team member
