About the role

Operating as an Email Marketing Executive, you will support the execution of the overall email marketing strategy for the business and be highly focused on delivering improved new customer acquisition and retention objectives. You’ll work alongside the Digital Brand Manager and ESP, Ometria, to shape and deliver elements of the digital marketing strategy.  You will utilise strong organisation skills to create, manage and optimise email marketing campaigns and be a true advocate for customer data within the team.


Key responsibilities

  • Work alongside the team in executing the overall email marketing strategy including the set-up, scheduling and deployment of broadcast and automated triggered email campaigns 
  • Create, manage and optimise email marketing campaigns and be a key user of our marketing service provider, Ometria.
  • Collaboratively support with database management initiatives including segment building, reactivation and lapsed campaigns.
  • Be a key stakeholder in the performance of the marketing action plan driving key retention and loyalty objectives and champion customer data.
  • Content planning and scheduling using trading objectives, marketing calendars and cross department priorities
  • Coordination with the Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure all communications are on-brand, accurate, relevant, and timely
  • Key driver of constant A/B testing in order to drive higher levels of engagement
  • Work closely with the key stakeholders to create campaigns to increase sales, drive acquisition and increase retention
  • Align with Creative teams to brief and influence key template designs
  • Analyse performance using key KPIs to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development

Knowledge & skills:

  • Previous experience with an ESP and Google Analytics
  • Strong organisational skills in order to co-ordinate scheduling and agile planning methods
  • Commercially astute with previous experience within Digital Marketing and a demonstrable track record of positive impact
  • Able to communicate effectively and contribute confidently within a team
