Become an Assistant Merchandiser
We’re looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team here at The Works! You’ll sit within our Supply Chain function and play a key part in a new team structure.

Your Mission
- Oversee timely delivery of stock into the warehouse, to maximise availability in line with agreed KPI's and timelines for all channels.
- Ensure on-time delivery through supporting the achievement of merchandising milestones within the critical path, ensuring any issues are resolved or raised where appropriate, and communicating with suppliers accordingly.
- Understand and use merchandising systems in the management of intake and the stock position.
- Work with Merchandising Assistant to plan initial allocations and launch builds, ensuring that stock and availability targets are met.
- Identify where system parameters can be adapted to maximise availability and stock efficiencies.
- Responsible for order management in line with agreed budgetary control and critical path.
- Own and manage SKU level forecasts to ensure sales, stock holding, margin and availability is optimised.
- Review key line forecasts weekly with guidance from the Merchandiser - make proposals for rebuys, order adjustments and cancellations.
- Review weekly trading performance to identify any issues and opportunities, and prepare relevant analysis as required.
- Complete attribute analysis to support the Merchandiser in range reviews and promotional analysis.
